Not too long ago I found myself somewhat late morning in a field in Hemel Hempstead. Surrounding me was the amazing Carter’s Steam Fair in all its vintage spectacular. Sapphira is a burlesque darling I met whilst touring Australia so its so wonderful she asked me to pop down from my Northampton photography studio to capture her and her girls for their new promo images. It took me 1 second to reply HELL YEAH! Promo photography on a merry go round!? Who wouldnt love that.

The weather was overcast and then muggy. Rain pending and the light was so changeable it was near impossible to predict. We worked hard and thankfully the rain was staved off. Sapphira and her showgirls were fabulous as was her husband, not forgetting the entire Carter Steam Fair team.

The girls worked hard and played hard. We had so much fun and despite only an hour or so too shoot I think I got some sensation promo photography even if I do say so myself.
