It is beautiful sunshine out there…well it here is in Northampton so I have been out and about shooting. I decided to challenge myself with shooting outside at midday. Now any photographer will tell you midday is usually harsh light, strong contrast and generally a bit of a ballache. So boom, lets get flexing my camera muscles with  a portrait session.

I adore Vicky, having shot her previously for our Bohemian Finds collaboration shoot a few months back. She brought along her amazing wedding gown which considering it was such a hot day in good old Northampton was a lovely gesture. Man, she must have been hot in that get up but not once did she complain. With my trusty assistant on hand to hold a reflector/video and balloon grapple we had a fabulous time.

Some lovely shots in the courtyard with Vicky in her pretty Vivien of Holloway dress before heading into the street (yep, we stopped traffic) for a bridal shoot. What a legend she is. That girl knows how to work her curves and angles. Little to no direction from me. Enjoy the shots and some video!
