Yeah I love a collaborative shoot, especially when working with local businesses. In this case it was local vintage style boutique Bohemian Finds and hairdressers Rockabelles. With Julia as assistant, our models Vicky, Alicia, Ashleigh and Emma and boutique owner Gretchen as stylist, the whole shoot was a blast. I loved it. Fashion photography needs to not be so stuffy or really boundary pushing. We wanted to stay true to the designer aesthetics and so the concept of ‘Girls Wanna Have Fun’ was born. Girls being silly post/mid party in pretty frocks. Perfect. I love the diversity of our models and they each really did so beautifully.

The music for the shoot (check out the video below) was from The Jets. Such a great band. Check out their facebook for dates they are playing and do try to catch them.

The entire set was built by me and I loved it. Such fun building it.

Swoon. Alicia killing it. Rockabelles did the most beautiful of hairdos for our models. Highly recommend them.
